Plastic Usage and Recycling

We’re trying to reduce our reliance on plastics.

The bottles our products are sold in can be recycled in your kerbside recycling collection.

All you need to do is separate the cap from the bottle before putting them in your recycling bin.

The bottle is made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic. These can be recycled into all sorts of new products such as clothing, carpets and rugs, automotive parts, or simply as another plastic bottle.

The cap is made from PP (polypropylene) plastic. When recycled, this type of plastic can be used to make items such as food containers, tupperware, clothing fibres, and gardening equipment.

The plastic seal used around the bottle cap should, in most instances, be put in your normal waste bin. This is because not all local authorities will be able to process this type of plastic for recycling.

We ship our products in brown mailing boxes which can be recycled when they’re no longer needed. If there is any plastic tape around the box please remove this as much as is possible, before putting the box in your recycling bin.
